BASIC STEPS FOR EFFECTIVE CREATIVE IMAGERY:
(1) Set a goal: Decide on something you would like to realize or create. At first, choose simpler goals in order to maximize feelings of success and to minimize negative resistance. Later, when practiced, take on more difficult or challenging problems.
(2) Create a clear idea or picture: Create a clear mental picture of the situation you would like to achieve. Do so in the present tense, as already existing the way you want it to be. Picture yourself in the situation and include as many details as possible.
(3) Focus on it often: Bring the mental picture to mind often, both in meditation and casually throughout the day. Focus on it clearly, yet in a gentle way to avoid striving.
(4) Give it positive energy: Make strong positive statements, that it exists, that it has come or is now coming to you. Suspend doubts or disbelief and give positive affirmations of receiving or achieving it.
