Ginseng and Tang Kuei Ten C. = Shi Quan Da Bu Tang = "All-Inclusive Great Tonifying Decoction"

signs and symptoms: Weak digestion, coughing, loss of appetite, weakness of the lower extremities, sores that refuse to heal, spermatorrhea,continuous spotting from uterine bleeding.
tongue and pulse: pale tongue with thin white coat; thready and weak pulse.
indications: Qi Xu (Deficiency) and Xue Xu (Blood Deficiency) with mild Yang Xu (Deficiency). With the appropriate presentation, may be used in conditions conventionally diagnosed as debility after prolonged illness, childbirth, or surgery; poliomyelitis, anemia, leukemia, carbuncle, nocturnal emission, hemorrhoidal bleeding, bloody dysentery, and rectocele.

ingredients: dosage for two days:
» 9 grams: prepared rehmannia (shu di huang), white atractylodes (bai zhu), Chinese angelica (tang kuei) (dang gui).
» 6 grams: astragalus (huang qi), ginseng (ren shen), white peony (bai shao yao), poria (fu ling).
» 3 grams: cinnamon bark (rou gui), ligusticum (chuan xiong), honey-baked licorice (zhi gan cao), jujube (da zao).
» 1 gram: fresh ginger (sheng jiang).
