tongue and pulse:
indications: Wind-Dampness and Xue Yu (Blood Stasis). With the appropriate presentation, may be used in conditions conventionally diagnosed as neuralgia of the limbs, rheumatism, and gout.
cautions and contraindications:
ingredients: dosage for one day:
» 2.5 grams: Chinese angelica (tang kuei) (dang gui), angelica (bai zhi), phellodendron (huang bai), red atractylodes (cang zhu), cnidium (chuan xiong), stephania (han fang ji), notopterygium (qiang huo), clematis (wei ling xian), arisaema (dan nan xing), cinnamon twig (gui zhi).
» 1 gram: carthamus (hong hua), dry ginger (gan jiang).
