definition

image: Close your eyes. Breathe in and out three times. Allow yourself to sink gently down into the deepest levels of your most private imagination and only then relax. Allow everything that you see and feel and hear as you do relax, to be wonderfully meaningful for you, as well, perhaps, as mildly amusing. Remember that you have a purpose in entering into this state and for practicing this extraordinary visualization. Your intention is to attain the maximum value that may be available to you, while using your IBIS program. Simply let this intention rest lightly in the back of your mind, while engaging in the following exercise.

Let yourself see and feel your body as ready to engage the IBIS program at your computer. And as you know yourself to be ready, allow the image of your body to assume the attributes of the ancient Egyptian ibis-headed god-form Thoth, that form is pictured on the opening screen and on the front page of all the literature that has come with your IBIS program. Realize that you know it well. As the image of your body changes, let yourself be aware of the budding transformation of your Mind. The duration and power of your attention lengthens and firms, while the scope of your awareness broadens. And you know that you now have access to the opening lines spelled out, upon the first page of every text, of any kind or subject ever written upon this Earth. And that those opening lines will lead you into the intricate depths of any subject that you wish to plumb. More! To your amazement, you realize that every whisper of every oral tradition ever mumbled since the inception of any language of our species is also yours to hear at any moment that you wish to have the knowledge within your grasp. Take a moment to be stunned by the wonder of it. Then take another moment to be overwhelmed with joy. Let yourself be ready, to use the meager physical powers of the computer program, as an open assist to the vast ability, that being one yourself, with the God-form Thoth, has granted to you. Then allow your eyes to slowly open once again. (Chavez and Stargrove)
