To the Chinese, it symbolized nobility, the Earth element and the Center. It also suggests joy, gaiety, and merriment. actions:
» acts on the motor nerves, thereby helping to energize muscles
» acts on the lymphatic system as it is a mild tissue stimulant
» acts on the intestines, pancreas (i.e. digestant, cholagogue), with respect to the digestive fluids, i.e. bile, hydrochloric acid, etc.; apply on digestive area including posterior aspect
» acts as a cathartic; apply to abdomen and lumbosacral area
» spleen depressant; equilibrator in melancholia, balances lower right and left thorax through the portal circulation
» acts as an anthelmintic
general considerations of yellow: Yellow activates the motor nerves; therefore it generates energy for the muscles. Disturbance in the supply of yellow energy to any part of the body can cause disturbance of function in that area including partial or complete paralysis; the basic cause is the deficiency of sensory and /or motor energy. Yellow being a mixture of red and green rays has half the stimulating potency of red and half the reparative potency of the green or nitrogen vibration; thus it tends both to stimulate function and to repair damaged cells. Yellow light directed at the intestinal tract for short periods is a digestant. For longer periods, it acts both as catharsis and as a cathartic. It also stimulates the flow of bile and has an anthelmintic action.
» Yellow is excellent for the nerves and the brain; is a motor stimulant and a nerve builder.
» Yellow rays carry positive magnetic currents which strengthen the nerves and aid the brain.
» Yellow has a stimulating, cleansing, and eliminating action on the liver, intestines, and the skin; it energizes the alimentary tract.
» Yellow purifies the blood stream; it activates the lymphatic system.
» Yellow is a spleen depressant, cathartic, cholagogue, anthelmintic.
» Yellow is good psychologically for despondent and melancholy conditions. To the ancients, yellow was the animating color for life; it suggests joy, gaiety, merriment. It is the color of the intellect, of perception, rather than of reason.

disease conditions treated with yellow:
» constipation: use thirty minutes of yellow breathing or apply yellow rays on the navel. If the effect proves over-laxative, use a glass of blue solarized water or a blue light as a countermeasure.
» diabetes
» digestive processes: yellow controls the solar plexus area and the digestive processes; yellow is used in gastro-intestinal cases.
» eczema
» flatulence
» hemiplegia: treat lumbar area in addition to paralysis treatment cited below.
» kidney
» indigestion
» liver
» mental/depression and exhaustion
» paralysis-since this is a disease of incoordination of brain, muscle, and nerve, use yellow over the occiput and the cervix.
» paraplegic: see paralysis hemiplegic treatments above; add the sacral region and make sure to treat each sciatic nerve
» piles
» rheumatism
» solar plexus-yellow controls the solar plexus area
» spleen
