Abstract: Rastogi et al (1993) reported on 129 asymptomatic HIV+ patients treated in India with homeopathic medicines (potencies of 30C to 1M) on the basis of the individual's constitutional characteristics. Twelve patients became ELISA seronegative after 3-16 months.

Abstract: Homeopathically prepared Chinese herbal formulas were injected weekly into specific acupuncture points in an uncontrolled 60 week study with 27 HIV+ patients with average baseline CD4 counts of 320. As small amounts (.2 cc/injection) of high dilutional Chinese herbal preparations (30x) are injected into acupuncture points the injected fluid was exposed to a .5 Gauss magnetic field. Results showed that 87% of patients had increased or stable CD4. Six patients had increases of over 100 CD4 cells. Clinical improvement was observed, with improvements in delayed-type hypersensitivity scores. This therapy was without toxicity as evaluated by blood chemistries.
