indications: high fever; headache; trachoma; redness, swelling and pain of the eyes; eye screens (beginning stages of film over the eyes) (So, 1984, p. 34); furuncles and boils of the corners of the mouth; cloudy urine; discharge in women
needle technique: no needle according to Dr. So (So, 1984, p. 34), but others suggest 0.1 - 0.2 cun insertion or bleeding three to five drops of blood (Ellis, et al, 1988, p. 400; Zhang, et al, p. 44)
moxa: 3 -5 cones of direct moxa; 5 - 10 minutes of indirect moxa with a pole
