» 3 grams: Chinese angelica (dang gui), white peony (bai shao yao), persica (tao ren), corydalis (yan hu suo), clematis (wei ling xian), lumbricus (di long).
» 2 grams: myrrh (mo yao).
» 1 gram carthamus (hong hua).
modifications:
» for Xue (Blood) Heat, consider cooling herbs such as salvia (dan shen), red peony (chi shao yao), moutan (mu dan pi), raw rehmannia (sheng di huang), anemarrhena (zhi mu), gypsum (shi gao), or forsythia (lian qiao).
