fourth dimension:
electropsychic field: The electrosomatic field consists of the physical field and its surrounding electric field. The body is this physical field, vibrating at a relatively low frequency that can therefore be sensed. The surrounding field is of a higher frequency and cannot normally be sensed. It contains what may be called the vital field. The electrosomatic field can be regarded as having twelve subfields that correspond to some extent to the Chinese acupuncture fields. The two main subfields are the positive field, beginning at the sacral plexus and ending normally in the pineal center, and the negative field, beginning at the hypogastric plexus and ending in the pineal center. The positive field consists of the sacral center at the sacral plexus through which the solar energy flows up the spine to the pineal center.
Scientists have demonstrated that the spine and back are a positive field, and the center part of the front of the body is negative in polarity. The right side of the body is positive and the left side is negative. Further, the abdomen is divided into subconscious (left side) and conscious (right side). It is through this relationship that emotional/mental complexes affect the physical body field, giving rise to psycho-somatic problems. The concepts of metapsychology are based on the study of the relationship between the electrosomatic and electropsychic fields and their relationship to the subjective fields. (Van Gelder)
astral field: This is the vehicle through which the emotional aspects of life are experienced. It is the body of desire, of pleasure and pain, satisfaction and discontentment. This is probably the most active of all the energy bodies for it manifests the personality. (Easley)
