Luo Xue: Luo Connecting points
Acupuncture

definition

Luo Xue = Luo Connecting points
actions: These points activate the Connecting channels whose principle function is to join a Yang Primary channel with its paired Yin Primary channel. The Connecting points are used to produce an homeostatic effect when a condition affects both of the corresponding Yin-Yang channels and organs. If a condition affects both of the paired organs relatively equally the Luo Connecting points on both channels can be needled to treat the symptoms in both organs and their channels. If symptoms of one organ predominate over those of its paired organ the Luo Connecting point of the more symptomatic organ is usually needled.
