definition
image: Close your eyes. Breathe in and out three times. See yourself standing in a drab and desolate landscape on the bank of a river. Notice that across the river the land is no longer desolate but green and healthy. Realize that you have wanted to live in such a land for quite some time but haven't felt able to get there, thinking it too far away. Now it is just across the flowing water. In the past, under other circumstances, you have been reluctant to immerse yourself in water of any kind. Now, letting yourself swim is all that it will take to get you to where you have always wanted to go. Feel yourself dive in. Experience the shock as you discover that the water is warm and salty and holds you up upon its surface easily. An irrepressible feeling of joy begins to bubble up within you and you start frolicking in the stream as you make your way to the other side. It no longer matters to you how long you stay in the water. It is joyous and cleansing and you will be on the green growing bank soon enough. When at last you have reached the other side, see and feel yourself turn to thank the river for having born you across. Let yourself feel great satisfaction in being where you wished to be, then slowly allow your eyes to open once again. (Chavez)
