water exercise: elbow/wrist

1. standing in chest-high water, arms at sides, palms facing out, pull arms up and let them come back down; keep arms as close as possible to body during movement
2. standing in chest-high water, make figure eight in water with wrist
3. standing in chest-high water with arms at sides, elbows flexed to 90°, palms facing down, push with palms through water
4. repeat exercises #2 and #3 with swimmer’s paddles on hands
5. standing in chest-high water, arms stretched out to sides but in the water, flex elbows to bring hands together in front of chest

repeat each exercise above 10 times once or twice daily
