di wu hui = earth five meetings
location: In the depression between the 4th and 5th metatarsal bones, on the medial side of the tendon to the little toe.
actions: disperses Heat; drains the Gall Bladder; clears the Liver; sharpens the hearing; brightens the eyes; dissipates Dampness; reduces swelling
indications: deafness; tinnitus; painful inflammation and/or itching of the eye(s); conjunctivitis; hematemesis; axillary pain and swelling; mastitis; ulcers of the breast; low back pain; inflammation and swelling of the dorsum of the foot
needle technique: perpendicular insertion, 0.3 - 0.5 cun, producing local soreness and distension
moxa: 2 - 3 cones of direct moxa; 5 - 10 minutes of indirect moxa with a pole
