» conventional diagnoses: acute colitis; acute dysentery

» etiology: interior Heat caused by chronic worry and anxiety combined with excessive consumption of hot and greasy foods

signs and symptoms

signs and symptoms:

• fever

• sweating (which does not reduce fever)

• thirst without desire to drink

• stiffness of chest and epigastrium

abdominal pain

• urgent need to defecate

diarrhea with blood and mucous in stools

• stools with offensive odor

• burning in anus

• dark scanty urine

• feeling of heaviness in body and limbs

» pulse: slippery, rapid

» tongue: red with sticky yellow coating
