Rehmannia and Gypsum C. = Yu Nu Jian = "Jade Woman Decoction"

signs and symptoms: Toothache, loose teeth, gingivitis, frontal headache, nosebleed, irritability, fever, thirst for cold beverages.
tongue and pulse: Dry, red tongue with a yellow coating, and floating, slippery, deficient, large pulse.
indications: Stomach Fire Blazing and Stomach Yin Xu (Deficiency). With the appropriate presentation, this formula may be used in treating conditions conventionally diagnosed as nosebleed, gingivitis, toothache, stomatitis, and glossitis.
cautions and contraindications: Contraindicated in cases with diarrhea.
ingredients: dosage for two days:
» 10 grams: gypsum (shi gao), cooked rehmannia (shu di huang).
» 3 grams: ophiopogon (mai men dong), anemarrhena (zhi mu), achyranthes (wei niu xi).
