Pinellia and Ginseng Six C. = Ban Xia Liu Jun Zi Tang

signs and symptoms: Chronic gastritis, indigestion, poor appetite, gastric ulcer, anemia, low body weight, food allergies, abdominal bloating, easily fatigued.
tongue and pulse: Thick greasy white tongue coating with sinking, slippery pulse.
indications: Spleen Qi Xu (Deficiency) with Spleen Distressed by Dampness. With the appropriate presentation, may be used in conditions conventionally diagnosed as acute and chronic gastroenteritis, gastric ulcer, duodenal ulcer, gastroptosis, ptosis of the internal organs, abdominal distention, dyspepsia, and diarrhea.

ingredients: dosage for one day:
» 3 grams: ginseng (ren shen), ginger (gan jiang), oyster shell (mu li), white atractylodes (bai zhu), pinellia (ban xia), scute (huang qin), poria (fu ling), citrus (chen pi), coptis (huang lian).
» 2 grams: licorice (gan cao).
